Last Friday it was Athletics Day!
The first event the year 6 girls (10-11 years of age) did was 200 metre sprints. I came 2 for the first time in my life. Next we did 100 metre sprints I came first! All my friends were surprised because they didnt know i could run that fast.Just so you know i never come anything.
Our next event was High Jump I got up to about 95cm. Next we did Cricket ball throw i suck at it.After that we did Long Jump, I got up to 3.50cm. After that we did Shotput that was actually pretty eazy for once. Anyway i got into the finals for 200m and 100m so i went to the starting line for 200m. All the year 6 girls had to wait for all the other people that got into the finals to finish thier race. When it was finnaly our turn they made us wait. im not sure why. On Your Marks, Get Set, BANG we all sprinted to the finish line. I dont know what i came. In 100m Sprints i came last because the girls were faster then the other girls i was facing. So i didnt get into interschools but thats fine cause the interschools got Cancled cause of the rain.
